Tamara Johnson-Malone- better known as Dream- was Born in Dallas, TX but moved to 6 different states before entering high school in the Oklahoma City area. After high school, she headed to Prairie View A&M University and graduated with a Bachelors Administration in Marketing.   In 1999 Tamara began a publishing company where she produced poetic customized pieces for various occasions.  The name of the company is For You Poetry for All Occasions, which is home to an impressive lyrical, poetic, and musical portfolio.  Poetry being her first love, music doesn’t fall far behind. Tamara has been singing since the age of three and finds the church as her greatest influence.  She started playing the piano around 8 and since then she has experimented with a variety of instruments.  Dream co-produced her first single, “What Would You Do” and  her artistic influences range from Prince, Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder, and Quincy Jones to Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Chaka Khan and Sade amongst others..
