Tamara Johnson holds a Bachelors of Administration from Prairie View A&M and became first published as a poet in Prairie View's school newspaper, "The Panther" in Spring 1991. She performed for former Mayor Ron Kirk of Dallas Texas as well as State Senator Royce West. Tamara has held a variety of positions in the non-profit sector in California, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas, but overall the arts are her first love. She enjoys writing, singing, and has been hired as a hostess, producer, and a ghost writer on several occasions. Tamara speaks to 8th-12th graders and college students providing a real look at the effects of trauma in one's life. Through an informing and inspiring presentation, she encourages students to embrace standing in their own truth. She is an active member at The Potters House Church in Dallas Texas where she serves as a writer in the Drama Ministry.
